Emirates OneandOnly Wolgan Valley is located around 190km, or a two and a half hour drive from Sydney. It is truly a unique resort in a unique setting located within the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, and bordered by the Wollemi and Gardens of Stone National Parks. The valley is approximately 26 km long and varies in width from six or seven km at its widest points that lead down to a bottleneck of just one km where the Wolgan River cuts a deep gorge through the sandstone. Tall, almost vertical cliffs, contrast with the gentle curve of the valley floor and a private road branches off Wolgan Road to follow the river through to the property. The Emirates OneandOnly Wolgan Valley is spectacularly located at the southern end of the valley, at the foot of Mount Wolgan and Donkey Mountain.Constructed from wood and stone materials and inspired by the Federation period, the 36 one-bedroom Heritage Suites at Emirates OneandOnly Wolgan Valley are ideal for single guests or couples looking for luxurious surroundings or a romantic getaway. A private pool features its own deck with a spacious adjoining verandah surrounded by a garden of native plants and shrubs. Inside, a central, double-sided fireplace made of local sandstone separates the bedroom from the living area. Great attention to detail has been paid to ensure the fixtures and fittings are reminiscent of the Federation period right down to the last hinge, light switch and glass blown shade. Warm, earthy tones and thick, neutral linens are complemented by wood furniture crafted by Wolgan Valley artisans to offer a unique sense of style and place.
